Hats off, graduates of Muskego High School Class of 2012

The class of 2012 gathered for a final time in the Salentine Gym at Muskego High School on Sunday afternoon, with all the celebration and somberness of the occasion.

As well as a farewell to what many described as a historic class, reaching the highest ever grade point average for a valedictorian (5.15), superintendent Dr. Joe Schroeder and Principal Dr. Dennis Bussen said goodbye, as each is moving on in their respective careers. Schroeder will leave at the end of June to take a position with the Association of Wisconsin School Administrators, and Bussen will take on the role of assistant school superintendent for the district.

Take a moment to view our photo and video gallery, and please feel free to add your own along with a caption of your own.

Again, congratulations to the class of 2012 - make us all proud!

What an absolutely beautiful ceremony it was - the speeches were all SO great - what an excellent send off for this class and I just loved it when they threw their caps!!! When the "kids" entering the military got a standing ovation I just had goosebumps and was in tears. What a remarkable group of kids.

It was an honor to serve the Class of 2012 as Senior Class President this year. Our class is so full of talent in so many different ways; it is truly unbelievable. Good luck to everyone in their future endeavors!
