Idle Isle Concessions Available for Lease
Island Ice Cream has decided to bow out, but the improved space is available for lease at Idle Isle
At the end of the summer season, Kristin Formolo, who owned Island Ice Cream seemed resigned that her first year in the concessions space at Idle Isle would be her last.
Craig Anderson, Director of Parks and Recreation, confirmed Monday night that the space would be open as Formolo will not return.
He proposed to offer the space for lease from May to September at $250 per month minimum, with utilities costs being extra.
After each season, the Parks Board agreed that the current tenant would have the right of first refusal in the bidding process for the next year.

That is too bad, we were really excited to have an ice cream shop there. I met Kristin, she was so nice! I wonder why she opted to leave? Not enough business?

Why would anyone open another business here and risk persistent malicious and illegal efforts to destroy their inventory and drive them away?
