Not too long after a domestic violence situation turned deadly in Brookfield, it was good news to report one in Muskego ended much more peacefully.

It's funny what happens when you leave town. I was sitting at the airport waiting to board a plane to Phoenix, when this news broke.
Late on Oct. 30, A man had refused to leave his home after a multitude of threatening messages were sent to his girlfriend and police were attempting to take him in.
He was a defendant in a domestic abuse case involving the woman, which was especially relevant given the Brookfield Spa shooting that occurred two weeks earlier. There, a couple involved in a history of domestic abuse calls was at the center of the incident, which left three women dead, including the man's wife Zena Haughton.
The good news in this case was that the incident was resolved peacefully. Here's the story:
