Week in Review: June 30 - July 6

Heat and hot times

 

The look back on the past week tells a tale of the weather, which impacted the 4th of July hopes of many a fireworks permit holder as the Council Votes to Ban Fireworks; this coupled with the previous ban on burning issued by the Mayor's office.

In addition, the seasonal Fireworks Vendors Struggle Under a Ban and in the Heat as a result.

Road construction continued to make news:

Road Closures on Parkland Drive, Janesville Road Announced
Highway G Construction Announced

And developments came in stories that involved Muskego residents getting into trouble with the law:

Of course the week was made a little shorter with the 4th of July holiday, celebrated in grand style on Idle Isle's shores: Muskego Sends Birthday Wishes to America on the Land, Sea & Sky

Wrapping it up, we met a woman who is determined to make it to France as a part of Team USA - Spin Cycle: Muskego Duathlete to Compete in France for World Championship
