What is Piano Fondue?

MHS business group hopes to entertain and raise money through comedic piano performance.

Two of Muskego High School's business clubs, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and Distributive Education Club of America (DECA), are sponsoring a unique comedic 'concert' dubbed "Piano Fondue" on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m.

The event centers around two 'dueling pianos' played by Taras Nahirniak and Adam Nelson, spiced up with off-the-cuff comedy. Performers play everything from Lady Gaga to Sinatra, and while guests are entertained they can enjoy appetizers in a family-friendly environment.

Previous performances indicate you should also bring a spirit of adventure and a willingness to sing along, although the latter may not be too difficult. Check out the Pianofondue's collection of videos on YouTube.

Student advisor Katie Cortez said the event has not gotten an immediate response, but hopes that a look at the YouTube videos for Piano Fondue will help people understand what a fun event it can be to attend. The venue is the Muskego High School cafeteria, and all ages are welcome.

The all-request show gives guests the versatility of a DJ, the quick wit of a stand-up comedy act and the entertainment value of a show band in one  performance that interacts with the audience. In other words, don't expect to idly sit and listed to two guys playing a piano.

FBLA and DECA are hoping to raise money for local charities, and the $15 tickets are available at the Muskego Public Library, or through the school's 'Warriors Warehouse.'
