Young Professionals are bringing a new outlook on how to do business. We will soon be seeing a new voice within our community with a group of Young Professionals that are becoming involved with a YP group being formed by the Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce.
These YP's made connections with other YP's from another chamber last Wed evening at a gathering at Matty's. It was delightful to see the energy they all brought and the enthusiastic networking in building connections.
The mission of the YP group is this: To engage and inspire young professionals with a social platform and opportunities for community volunteerism, which leave a lasting impact professionally and personally. This networking and volunteerism - coupled with training - will allow our members to meet with peers, expand business contacts, give back to the community, and learn fundamentals of leadership, to prepare them for future career endeavors.
This is new and different for our Chamber of Commerce and we are ready to embrace these Young Professionals. New thought, new advances in technology and new ways of socializing with a professional twist.
What other ways do you see our Young Professionals making an impact on Muskego?

Had fun at the gathering. Looking forward to the next one.
If the vision for volunteering locally plays out, that will certainly make a difference.
I also see these gatherings as helpful to retaining young talent for our city. I met our bankers and insurance agents in the making, talented people with a lot of energy and vision for the future that we'd love to keep local. Not losing these people to Milwaukee Eastside will in time spill over and add vibrance to our boards, start-up businesses, schools, you name it.

Brian, it was so good to see you there as well as the other Muskego YP's. Hope to get our group off the ground very soon. We need a few more Muskegoeon's to push this through. I know we have a ton of YP's out there.
I have a list of great projects that they could take on and at the same time learn about each other and build meaningful business relationships.
