Girl Scout Cookies Support The Troops

It's Girl Scout cookie time!  Last year Country Meadow's Girl Scout Troop #9105 collected over 135 Cookie Shares (tax deductible cookie box donations) for soldiers.  The cookies were shipped overseas by Support The Troops (http://www.supportthetroopswi.com), a Wisconsin organization that has shipped over 5000 care packages to troops deployed around the world.  This year our troop would like to double or triple their previous donation amount and send even more cookies to our soldiers.  Buying Cookie Shares is a wonderful way to support both Girl Scouts and our military troops!  The cookies available this year are the new Cranberry Citrus Crisps, a gluten free  Chocolate Chip Shortbread cookie being test marketed in our area as well as Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwich cookies, Lemonades, Thanks-A-Lot and Shortbread cookies.  To find a cookie booth near you just go to http://www.girlscouts.org/program/gs_cookies/how_to_buy.asp and enter your zip code.  Troop #9105 will be at the Texas Roadhouse in New Berlin on Sunday, 1/26 and Saturday, 2/1 from 11:00am-3:00pm selling cookies and taking Cookie Share donations.  You may also contact troop9105@yahoo.com to inquire about making a Cookie Share donation.
