Christmas Relay Needs Mascots

The annual Country Christmas celebration is just around the corner believe it or not, and the business mascot relay will return; does your company have a contender?

A new feature of last year's Muskego Country Christmas was a 'Christmas dash' mascot relay, which had a race among various business's mascots to move presents to the base of the city tree.

"Last year's dash was a tremendous success and thoroughly enjoyed by all attendees," said event chair Krisann Durnford. "We are excited to bring this wholesome, family entertainment to our community while also offering our chamber members great business exposure."

The 2011 Christmas Dash included mascots dressed as animals, insects, imaginary figures, and even the grinch. About 1500 to 2000 people attend the annual parade and the events afterwards, which occur at the Old Settlement Centre near city hall and are sponsored by the Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism.
