Fox River Christian Church Sets Ribbon-Cutting
The new church at the corner of Tans Drive and Racine Avenue held its first service on Sunday.
More than 500 people attended the first service Sunday at the new Fox River Christian Church in Muskego, and a formal ribbon-cutting is set for next week.
A small ribbon-cutting ceremony for the church, near the corner of Tans Drive and Racine Avenue, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
The church occupies the former Muskego Gateway Entertainment Complex. It's the third location for Fox River, which also has churches in Waukesha and Waterford.
Church officials decided to expand south since so many members previously drove 25 minutes or more to get to the Waukesha location.
