There are a number of great places to get a fish fry dinner in Muskego - here is just a sampling.

As Lent approaches, many Muskego residents will be looking to the traditional fish fry for Friday night dinners. Fortunately, Muskego offers a number of places to get a good fish fry during the Lenten season - here are just a few:

Country Squire - S72W16373 Janesville Rd

One of the most famous fish fry locations in the area, Country Squire offers a fried fish dinner for $11.95, or a baked fish dinner for $12.95. They also have a variety of seafood options, including cod, perch, and shrimp.

Bushy's - S67W14831 Janesville Road

A popular dinner destination in Muskego, Bushy's has a 3-piece cod dinner for $9.50, which includes french fries, cole slaw, and bread - just like any good fish fry should!

Brick House Bar & Grill - S64W18295 Martin Dr

Brick House has a variety of options for those looking for a good fish fry. They have fried fish dinners, all-you-can-eat, for $9. If you would like to take it to-go and enjoy it at home, the price is $10. They also have tilapia and shrimp. But if budget is a concern, the Early Bird Special runs from 11:00am to 4:00pm, and includes everything you get with a regular fish fry, and 2 pieces of fish, for $6.

Muskego Lakes Country Club - S100 W14020 Loomis Road

Muskego Lakes is another great place to go for your fish fry, but make sure you watch the clock: their fish fry runs from 5:00pm to 8:30pm. The cost is $12.50, but it also includes soup, salad, and fries, along with your 3 generous pieces of fish - making it a complete meal for anyone who wants to make sure they are full at the end of their meal!

The best fish fry in Muskego, and I've tried them all, is Alpine Lanes. Their serving of fries has gotten a bit skimpy and skinny since the remodel job, but their serving of fish makes up for it. I'll order carry out again tonight.
