Heat Advisory Issued For Tuesday

The heat index is expected to approach 100 Tuesday as the heat wave continues.

With the heat index expected to approach 100, the National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory Tuesday for several southeastern Wisconsin counties, including Waukesha. 

The heat advisory is in effect from noon to 8 p.m. Patch's media partners at WISN 12 News predict a hot and sticky day Tuesday, with a high of 92. 

WISN says temperatures should fall back into the 80s the rest of the week, beginning with a high of 82 on Wednesday.
