Lion-Hearted Donations Delivered

The Muskego Lions Club brought boxes of food to families for Thanksgiving, carrying along with them hope for a brighter holiday

It's an annual tradition that often doesn't get enough mention, but the Muskego Lions Club again collected donations of non-perishable food and cash to feed Muskego families.

According to Lion Terri Zebron, this Thanksgiving saw the delivery of boxes of food to 30 families, including turkey, pumpkin pie, milk and rolls as well as other donations.

The boxes of food were brought by Lion volunteers on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, but if you feel you missed out on an opportunity to help, Zebron said it's not too late.

"We have 32 families on the list for Christmas," she said. "The Christmas deliveries using those donations will be on Saturday, Dec. 22nd."

Donations will be accepted and any questions on what's needed or where to bring them can be directed to Zebron at tsimplyterri@gmail.com or Bonnie Johnson at bjohnsonrealtor@gmail.com.
