Muskego Fest Opening Ceremonies Friday
After Thursday's family night, Muskego Fest will formally get under way with opening ceremonies at 5 p.m. Friday.
Opening ceremonies for Muskego Fest are set for 5 p.m. Friday at Veterans Memorial Park. W182S8200 Racine Ave.
The festival began Thursday with a family night from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday's festivities include a fish fry, several bands and carnival rides aplenty.
Also ahead this weekend at Muskego Fest: a wristband special from noon to 5 p.m. and the Muskego Teen Idol finals on Saturday, and the parade at 11 a.m. Sunday.
Due to Janesville Road construction, the parade will start at the Janesville Road entrance to Waukesha County Park, proceed east to Racine Avenue, then south to the festival grounds.
