An opening ceremony Friday formally kicked off the 26th year of Muskego Fest at Veterans Memorial Park.
Plenty of food—including a fish fry—live music and carnival rides marked Friday night at the festival, which continues through the weekend.
Saturday features a wristband special from noon to 5 p.m. and the Muskego Teen Idol finals.
The parade will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday. Due to Janesville Road construction, the parade will start at the Janesville Road entrance to Waukesha County Park, proceed east to Racine Avenue, then south to the festival grounds.
