Muskego Green Market Extending Debut Season

Due to popular demand, organizers of the Muskego Green Market are lengthening the season by a month.

Based on strong interest from vendors and patrons, organizers of the Muskego Green Market are lengthening its inaugural season.

The market, held from 3-7 p.m. Thursdays in the Muskego Public Library parking lot, will now be held through Oct. 3—an extra month than originally planned.

Shannon Barbian, the chief organizer of the market, said the extra time will give produce vendors an opportunity to sell more (the wet start to the summer caused delays) and the community more time to check it out.

The Muskego Green Market offers a rotating selection of food offerings and handmade products. A full list can be found each week on its Facebook page

The market is also looking for musicians to become part of the event, Barbian said, similar to other farmer's markets in the area.

Anyone interested can visit the Muskego Green Market Facebook page to get in touch with the organizers.
