Muskego Teen Named Miss Teen Wisconsin

Jessica Portik, the new Miss Teen Wisconsin, is raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation at Muskego Fest this weekend.

A Muskego teen recently crowned Miss Teen Wisconsin will be at Muskego Fest on Saturday raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Jessica Portik, 16, was named Miss Teen Wisconsin two weeks ago and will represent the state at the national competition, said her mother, Tammy.

The award comes with a charity-work requirement. Jessica's choice of the Make-A-Wish Foundation was an extension of her past work helping special-needs children and her future plans to become a special-needs teacher, her mother said.

Jessica will be at a booth from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday collecting donations to help send a girl to Disney World.

Muskego Fest begins its four-day run on Thursday. Get more information on the 26th annual festival here
