Veterans Could Use a Little Warmth - Can You Help?

Think about donating unneeded clothing to a unique cause.

Going through your winter clothes?

Now's the time to think about donating outgrown or no-longer needed warm clothes as part of Operation Sweaters for Veterans, a unique way to honor our nation's heros.

Max A. Sass and Sons Funeral Homes, in conjunction with Veterans & Family Memorial Care, will collect donate gently-used sweaters and gloves now through Veterans Day, Nov. 12, with the donated items going to vets in VA hospitals or in veterans' homes. This includes the Muskego location on Westwood Drive, just off of Janesville Road.

Organizers of the program hope the small gesture of donating warm clothing will help everyone remember the sacrifices veterans have made for our country.

Veteran's Day is officially on Nov. 11, with Muskego ceremonies planned at the Regency on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 10 a.m.
