Free Oatmeal Thursday at McDonald's

In honor of kids hitting the books, McDonald's, including the Muskego location, is offering oatmeal to students from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Thursday.

The , in addition to another 123 other restaurants in Southeastern Wisconsin, will be from 6 to 9 a.m. Thursday to mark the new school year. 

Students are asked to either bring a their school I.D., or be accompanied by an adult. 

The oatmeal breakfast is filled with a half cup of fruit including raisins, cranberries and red and green apples.

"McDonald's is committed to the well-being of children in the communities we serve and offering our customers the best quality, on-the-go food choices to meet their everyday nutritional needs," said Robert Pyles, local McDonald’s owner/operator and president of the southeastern Wisconsin co-op in a press release. "This back-to-school season we are excited to offer a hearty breakfast choice to children and help propel their academic success this new school year."

In addition to the Muskego McDonald's, McDonald's throughout southeastern Wisconsin are also offering this freebie.
