Have the 'Lights' in Muskego Gone Out?

Teen club opened in early spring, but closed for the season just as school was letting out.

One of our readers prompted me to check into what ever happened to the new teen club that opened in late March, call "Lights."

Our tour of the inside showed a lot of work put into the facility, which was to target kids in late middle school up to the age of 18.Β  Cosmetic upgrades as well as a state of the art security system were just a few of the things that owner Ed Stawski said would attract the age group and satisfy parents' concerns about safety.

However, as school was drawing to a close, a note posted on the night club's Facebook page stated that they were going to close for the summer, prompting fans to question the move, obviously disappointed.

"Huh?? That would be your BUSIEST TIME! I can help ya fill that place," said one fan.

A post to the page on Sept. 15 asked when the dance club would reopen but no answer was given.

The website for the club is now listed as 'not found' and city planners have not received any information on the business' status, either.

We attempted to reach Stawski by phone but have not had our calls returned.
