Holiday Guide: Let the Tree Hunt Begin, Muskego

Plenty of pines to choose from around the city, and in many shapes and sizes to fit your home.

Well before Thanksgiving, we spotted the Christmas tree lot signs popping up around town and wanted to make it easier for you to find them.

It's likely we'll add to this list, so stay tuned and happy hunting!

- well decked out and trees just delivered, the truckloads left behind hundreds of balsam, fraser, and Canaan pine, which is a hybrid balsam/fraser. Owners say it offers the scent of a balsam and the greener color of a fraser. All trees come from Shawano, WI. They also sell wreaths, pointsettias and Christmas decor.

Hein's - a cut your own lot on Tess Corners Drive near the Muskego/Franklin border, it's going to require a little more walking, and open date is still tenative. However, it does have taller trees for homes with higher ceilings.  (Editor's pick, mainly because I prefer their balsams, which allow for space inside the tree to string lights and hang additional ornaments.
