Manufacturer to Move Franklin Business to Muskego

Citing location and size as optimal, Masteq LLC looks to open new facility, which will double its workforce from its location in Franklin, at the Muskego business park.

Contract manufacturer Masteq LLC has purchased a 7,000-square-foot building in the Muskego Business Park for $300,000, and will move there from Franklin Industrial Park on June 1.

The new location, at W189 S8224 Mercury Drive, will double the company's capacity, said Steven Horvath, co-owner. The company, with seven employees, plans to double its workforce once new plant is fully operational, Horvath said.

He told Muskego Patch that the location, price and size of the building combined to present the best oppotunity for the company, which he co-founded in Milwaukee in 2006 with Mark Anderson. The company serves the Foundry Industry of North America with machined castings and performs CAD design and engineering services.
