New Business: Morgan's Collision Sets Up Shop on South Side

State of the art facility along HIghway 36 offers body repair, and is open just in time for deer season.

Considering the fact that we've been warned about the heightened risk for car v. deer crashes in the next couple of months, and winter driving also leads to a greater incidence of accidents, Morgan's Collision has opened just in time.

Operating on Muskego's south side along Highway 36, the location was ideal for owner Ron Graham, a 1989 Muskego High School graduate.

Graham had been commuting from Muskego to Cedarburg for the past 17 years to Five Corners Dodge where he was a collision specialist, and told Muskego Patch the move was something he'd always wanted to do.

"The drive is obviously now much more convenient," he joked. "However, I've always liked what I do, and I'm excited now to have my own shop."

Nathan Laurent with Keller Construction, contractors of the facility, said the building was a case of choosing the best equipment.

"Ron didn't skimp on the equipment here - there's really nothing like it in the area," he said.

A paint booth that will allow for a quicker turn around for vehicles to be reunited with their owners, as well as frame straighteners that help bring cars back to original, are pricey investments, but Laurent said the idea was to make the process more efficient for the customer.

Morgan's will be the second auto body shop in Muskego to renovate and expand (Young's has also just built a new shop on Janesville Road), but as owners are more likely to repair vehicles than purchase new ones, Graham said the work is there.

Also, like Young's Auto, Morgan's Collision is looking to add to their workforce as time goes on. Their placement along Highway 36 also is hoped to draw a customer base from Racine County communities like Waterford and Wind Lake, as well as western suburbs of Milwaukee County.

In addition, Morgan's has established a relationship with Enterprise to provide loaner cars to its collision customers. Eventually, Laurent said the idea was to have a couple of vehicles in their own 'stable' to loan to customers.

A website and Facebook page are still under construction, so if you're looking for more information, contact Morgan's at 414-708-1110.

Agreed - owned by Muskego residents too... Highway 36 is known for its accidents, so the location is ideal.
