Rozman Wealth Management's 2013 Corporate Wellness Program continues its strong start for 2013

Winner of the “Leanest Winner” corporate challenge is down 36 pounds since January

Rozman Wealth Management takes their annual corporate wellness program to the next level by adding a healthy competition to raise the stakes.  Upon the completion of their corporate wellness program, President of Rozman Wealth Management, Kurt Rozman, challenged his team of investment professionals to maintain their healthy weight for 6 months.  Prizes, competition and camaraderie motivated the team to not only maintain their healthy weight but lose another 60 pounds over the 6 month period.

During Rozman Wealth Management’s annual wellness program, the team of 9 + 2 spouses lost 200 pounds in January and February.  Everyone felt very happy with their weight loss and the knowledge they gained in the process.  Kurt Rozman, President, wanted the healthy lifestyle to continue so they could maintain their weight, activity level and confidence.  He felt the best way to do that would be to create a “Leanest Winner” challenge, have an individual and team winners, complete with prizes.  “The most rewarding part for me is the confidence this challenge has brought to our team, I enjoy hearing how great everyone feels and how much energy we have to tackle any challenge life throws our way,” says Kurt Rozman.

The overall individual winner, Bryan Ratkowski, Client Services Manager, is down to his college track and field weight.  He started in January at 182 pounds, and he now weighs 146, losing a total of 36 pounds. Bryan said his motivation was being in great shape for his sand volleyball season at Bradford Beach this summer and to win the cash prize to buy a new bow for hunting season.  Of the two teams, the winning team received new running shoes from Kurt and they received a free lunch courtesy of the losing team.

“As we continue to redefine what it means to live a healthy lifestyle, each team managed to lose another 30 pounds during this competition. It has been a transformation that builds on each year’s momentum,” says Joann Bell, Client Associate.

“Over the years our wellness programs have guided our team toward healthy whole foods to help them overcome illnesses and bring back vitality. These are busy people, busy with work, families and life, making it a priority to prepare real food that’s healthy and loaded with nutrition for themselves and their loved ones.  It is truly an amazingly healthy and inspiring group of professionals,” said Robin Rozman, Director of Operations.
