Blues and Greens: The Mother Lode: The music, art, theatre and food of New York City

In the tradition of Blues and Greens, UW-Waukesha Continuing Education is proud to present Blues and Greens: The Mother Lode: The Music, Art, Theatre, and Food of New York City. Join us on our luxury coach bus as we drive out to New York City, with stops at the Cleveland Hyatt for an overnight stay, and dinner at Lolita’s, owned by Michael Symon of The Chew. While in New York, we’ll see an amazing musical performance at Below 54, New York's newest cabaret in the famed Studio 54. We will also take a guided tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and enjoy the company of old and new friends in great seats for Broadway shows. We'll trek through the Lower East End on a walking food tour and a tour of Lincoln Center and Radio City Music Hall. We'll visit iconic sites like the Statue of Liberty and the 9-11 Memorial, but expect those special Blues and Greens touches like a ballroom dance workshop, special treatment at Mario Batalli's Eataly, a presentation at a spice house, and
a television show taping. And of course we'll be dining at classic and
trendy restaurants! We’ll enjoy a French dinner at Le Halle,
brisket at Katz's Deli ("I'll have what she's having!"), and a slice at
Uncle Paul's. We'll receive special attention from chef Pip Freeman of Brooklyn's newest hotspot, Three Letters. Our tour to NYC just may be your
favorite yet! Come join CE for the Mother Lode of fun, food and friendship.
