Environmental Voices: Wisconsin’s Iron Mining Debate

Jim Uhrinak of the Milwaukee Audubon Society will cover the natural history, geography, and the unique conditions of Wisconsin’s Penokee Hills with comments on potential mining impacts. Water relationships, bird migration, American Indian treaty rights, your constitutional rights, and the future of waterfalls are all part of the discussion. This program will serve as an introduction for prospective participants in a companion field trip.  This program is handicap accessible.
