Using her bald cats as the stars of her two award winning books, Bella and Gizmo’s Adventures; The Hairless Sphynx Cats and Bella Gets a New Sweater, Jodi inspires our youth, using her words in the mouths of the cats
with a beautiful sense of humor. Jodi does Author Visits in various hospitals
often bringing her hairless cat, GIZMO, to meet sick little kids that lose their
hair. It is heart warming when they meet Jodi and realize that Jodi is also
hairless and so is her kitty. Jodi hosts alopecia groups that help families and
children learn to deal with hairloss issues. Jodi started the Alopecia
Universalis support group on Facebook and counsels people going through hair
loss issues, for free. Jodi’s 16 year old daugter, JESS, honor student attending Muskego, High School, helps with peer counseling. This is a mother-daughter act that has been going stong and generously helping people all over our community.

Jodi is actively involved with NAAF, the National Alopecia Areata Foundation
and donates 20% of the profits from her Headline It! Comfort Wig liners each
year to NAAF to support their program. Jodi has volunteered and worked with the
Look Good Feel Better Program for over fifteen years, helping cancer patients
learn how to wear makeup and wigs, when going through chemo. Jodi believes that  it is her GOD given talent to help out everyone that loses their hair, the best

Jodi makes frequent public appearances, volunteering to help spread the
awareness of alopecia. Jodi just joined Piston’s player Charlie Villaneuva at
the Buck’s game last weekend, doing photo opportunities and helping support her
local alopecia community. Jodi also volunteers her time as a celebrated radio
host on Ripley's Believe It or Not radio's; Weird Medical Maladies. Jodi
does the show to help give an education about differences to reduce prejudices.

platform for Jodi to be able to educate people about alopecia and different issues.

Jodi was a Top Finalist on ABC’S AMERICAN INVENTOR TV SHOW and featured

Beautiful. Jod filmed her tragedy to triumph story on LIFETIME TV’S HEALTH
CORNER, which still runs on the Walgreen’s websitel, daily. As a Master’s Level
Psychologist, Jodi is able to teach valuable tricks to help people learn to
love themselves for who they are. Her life experiences are laid out in her
award winning book Bald Is Beautiful; My Journey To Becoming. Jodi and her
daughter also participate in local fund raising events and food drives.
