I had posted back on May 15 to download and install Smart Defrag 2.4, now they have 2.5 out. The link to this old blog post is:
You want to stay current with the version and updating it is very easy. You can download and run the run located at: http://majorgeeks.com/downloadget.php?id=5318&file=9&evp=3907499a9d91d6d4d70477dfa7628159
You can run the file, if you have this installed or first time installing it there are 2 options you want to be aware of after you run the install.
DO NOT install the toolbar, you will see that in the picture, just no need for that, and click on DECLINE.
The next box which will come up will have 3 check boxes, you do not need to install this as well, click on SKIP. After you can click on Finish and it should say Smart Defrag 2.5.
I attached the pictures of what the screens will look like so you know what to click on DECLINE and SKIP as well.
You can then Left click on the Defrag and pick Defrag and Fully Optimize and it will do its thing. The nice thing about this program it is automatic and you can run multiple programs not like the windows defrag program which doesn’t do much.
