FMOW Gymnastics Win Conference Meet!

Girls gymnastics teams take conference titles, besting Arrowhead, Mukwonago/Kettle Moraine, Kenosha and Waukesha

Both JV and Varsity Franklin Muskego Oak Creek and Whitnall gymnastics won their conference meets last Thursday.  The gymnastics team is in a combined conference with teams from the Classic 8 and the SEC.  They competed against Arrowhead, Mukwonago/Kettle Moraine, Kenosha combined and Waukesha combined.  This is the third straight year that the gymnastics team has won both the varsity and the jv conference competition. 


From Franklin
Becca Teska took 2nd on bars and 4th on the vault
Jessica Kossoris was 5th on the vault
Melanie Pearson was 9th on the floor

From Whitnall
Lauren Zurowski who won the conference floor exercise crown with a 9.625 and took 2nd on vault.Rachel Tillman who took 4th on the floor.Brianna Tabat who took 2nd in the jv all-around and 3rd on jv vault.Lani Cieszynski who took 5th on the beam.

From Muskego
Sam Balcerak who won the conference all-around title and took 4th on floor and 1st on beam.
Alyssa Behrendt who took 3rd place on beam and 5th on bars
Sammie Olson who won the bars, took 3rd on the vault and 4th on the beam
Shannon Hein who took 2nd on floor and won  jv vault
Paige Schreiber who took 2nd on bars
Shauna Patin and Ashley Colbert competed on the jv team.

From Oak Creek
Taylor Oleszak who won both the beam and the floor.
Emily Forsythe who took 3rd on the beam and 6th on the floor.
Lexi Bell who took 2nd on bars and
Christina Gibbons who was 3rd on floor.
