Jammin Once Again

Jammin on Janesville 2013 will showcase the city of Muskego and all its Businesses in a fun, personal, interactive manner, creating a lively and engaging event for the community

Jammin on Janesville 2012 was sponsored by the Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, with support from the city of Muskego. More than 140 businesses brought the event to life from 5 - 9pm three times last summer.  Together, the business community has accomplished more than individual businesses could have accomplished on their own.

The planned phase 2 of Janesville Road has begun with utilities construction and the road to begin in early spring.  Jammin on Janesville proved successful and will continue this next year.  2013 plans are underway.

Working cooperatively as a group has been productive with combining resources for the maximum benefit. Specifically, the Muskego area Chamber of Commerce and its member businesses, and organizations are working well together to prepare businesses for another season of road construction and the continued Jammin’ events for 2013. The Chamber's leadership is pleased and proud to host these exciting events.

Four weeks ago, this unprecedented partnership hosted an information session wherein business owners and operators were provided an overview of the marketing opportunities for the upcoming Jammin’ on Janesville events for 2013 as well as information of the upcoming road construction. 115 members of the business community attended the session. Attendees affirmed that the Jammin on Janesville efforts last year were successful and accomplished an awareness of the Muskego business community and they are ready to take this effort on once again.

Sponsorships are being collected; activities and events are in the process of being planned.  There is something for every size business or organization to help market themselves and our community in the best possible way.  March 8th is the deadline for sponsorship.  With some of the ideas and momentum, that the information session brought forth, businesses have come on board with very exciting concepts with creative flare. Businesses are thinking outside the box and coming up with ideas that will draw a crowd. This is the most opportune time to put a face on businesses and the Muskego community.

As we make our way through seasons of road construction, we will do well to recognize how the efforts off many business owners, the Chamber of Commerce, the city of Muskego and our caring community will result in great progress for those of us who choose to live, work and play in this uniquely beautiful city.

Our Muskego business community will benefit for many years from the work being completed along Janesville Road, and the efforts, partnerships and cooperation put forth by many.
