Carnival Worker's Strange Behavior Ends in Arrest at Muskego Fest

Kevin A. McKenzie, 50, remains jailed after being charged with felony possession of marijuana.

A 50-year-old carnival worker, who was acting bizarre at Muskego Fest on Saturday, faces a felony marijuana possession charge.

Kevin A. McKenzie remains jailed in lieu of $250 bail. He faces up to 1-1/2 years in prison and $10,000 in fines if convicted of possession of marijuana-second or subsequent offense.

The Muskego Police Department responded at 8:32 p.m. Saturday to a report of a suspicious man in a camouflage jacket carrying a backpack who was going in and out of the woods, according to the complaint. His strange behavior escalated as he stood behind female vendors at the festival.

When police made contact with the man, they learned McKenzie was a transient carnival worker who had warrants out for his arrest. They found the marijuana in his pants pocket when he was arrested, according to the complaint.

McKenzie appeared highly intoxicated at the time of his arrest.
