Drunk, Unruly Man Arrested On Four Charges

Man threatened a group with a knife, had to be handcuffed to a bench for police officers' safety, according to a report.

An unruly, intoxicated 30-year-old Muskego man was arrested for four offenses after causing a disturbance near his residence in the S7800 block of Overlook Bay Road.

According to a Muskego police report:

Officers were called to an apartment complex about 1 a.m. Sept. 22 on a report the man was harassing a woman and her daughter. The woman told police the man wanted to meet her outside, and when she refused, he began cursing loudly and throwing furniture from his patio.

After yelling at the woman through a screen door, he threw items around his apartment and yelled about how drunk he was.

Another neighbor told police the man pulled out a large kitchen knife, telling the neighbor and his friends that "if anyone wants to (expletive) me, they'll have to deal with this."

He continued to verbally harass the group and refused to leave even after being told to do so at least 10 times.

After his arrest, the man verbally assaulted officers and spit on the police department floor. At one point, he became so violent that officers handcuffed both of his hands to a bench for their own protection.

A breath test revealed a blood-alcohol content of .29. The man talked openly about drinking a full bottle of brandy throughout the course of the day.

Police arrested him for disorderly conduct, misdemeanor bail jumping, carrying a concealed weapon and trespassing.

He was on bail for second-offense drunken driving and disorderly conduct. Conditions of his bail stipulated he could not drink alcohol.
