Get a Taste of Law Enforcement at Citizen's Police Academy
Registration is open for the Muskego Citizen's Police Academy, which begins Sept. 9.
The Muskego Police Department is accepting applications for its Citizen's Police Academy, a 10-week course that gives residents hands-on experience in law enforcement.
Some of the activities in store for participants include crime scene investigation, firearms training, scenario-based training and driving a police car on an obstacle course.
The academy is designed to give residents a better understanding of law enforcement and the opportunity to learn the functions of the police department.
Classes are held at 7 p.m. Mondays, from Sept. 9 until graduation on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
Applications can be found online.
