Mom Defended by 10-Year-Old in Domestic Disturbance

Muskego man facing charges of battery and domestic abuse after fleeing police in incident involving his wife and children

Muskego Police were called to the scene of a domestic disturbance on Nov. 11 around 10 p.m., in a case where the woman's older son stood to defend her as the couple argued.

According to the report, the husband and wife were arguing shortly after the man came home "from drinking with friends" Sunday evening, as he accused her of acting suspicious.

The couple's 2-year-old son and another 10-year-old boy from a previous relationship the woman had were asleep at the time, but the man walked into the 2-year-old's room to wake him. The boy was then ushered into the other boy's room by the woman, and the couple continued to argue in the livingroom.

At one point, the report stated the 10-year-old appeared, holding a baseball bat to defend his mother. The man had slapped the woman and eventually left the residence, but shortly after forced his way back in.

The woman was then pushed her out of the home by her husband and locked out, but the 10-year-old reopened the door. The man fled on foot after hearing police sirens and was later found by police, the report stated.
