Mukwonago Woman Charged after Allegedly Driving to Muskego McDonald's Drunk

Suspect allegedly had 0.21 blood alcohol level with young child in the car

A 22-year-old Mukwonago woman is facing charges after she allegedly drove drunk to a Muskego McDonald’s with a young child in the car.

Kasandra L. Wildt was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Tuesday with second offense operating while intoxicated with a minor in the vehicle and one count of operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration, second offense with a minor in the vehicle. If convicted, she faces up to two years in prison and $4,400 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint, at 10:11 a.m. Monday, Muskego Police Department officers were called to McDonald’s, W189 S7851 Racine Ave., after an employee noticed Wildt was possibly drunk while in the restaurant with a child.

Officers arrived at the restaurant as she was putting the child in the backseat of the car, the complaint states, so they blocked her vehicle from leaving.

Wildt initially denied consuming intoxicants, the complaint states even though she smelled of alcohol. She was unable to perform a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol level of 0.21. Wildt then told officers she had been drinking with her boyfriend since 9 pm and had just consumed a double shot of vodka before going to McDonald’s.

Wildt has a previous OWI conviction in 2005. She is free on $500 cash bail while awaiting trial.
