On Feb. 22, police were called to the school after Ecklund began to act out in class and faculty suspected him of taking drugs. Police searched Ecklund and found half a pill and some white power even though Ecklund denied taking anything.

The pill was later identified as Percocet and the powder was tested for heroin and cocaine, which came back inconclusive.
