Police: Drunken Driver Arrested After Fleeing Officer

A 22-year-old Brookfield man allegedly drove off the road and was carrying a concealed weapon at the time of his arrest.

Police say a 22-year-old Brookfield man was driving drunk when he drove off the road, failed to stop for an officer and was eventually stopped on Interstate 43.

According to the Muskego Police Department newsletter, the man drove across grass in front of Fox River Christian Church and continued northbound onto I-43 about 2:50 a.m. Aug. 20. 

In addition to eluding an officer and drunken driving, he was also arrested for carrying a concealed weapon.
