Police Make Several Arrests for OWI

Drugs and alcohol play a role in many incidents this week.

Police reported an uptick in incidents this week involving drugs and alcohol.

April 22, 2011 – A hit and run accident on Janesville Rd. and Lincoln Dr.was reported, followed by a second call reporting a reckless driver. This led to the arrest of a 19 year old Brookfield man for hit and run and drunk driving.

April 23, 2011 - A 43 year old Kenosha woman was arrested for drunk driving on Durham Drive after police received a cellular 911 call.

April 24, 2011 – A reckless driver on Moorland Rd. was reported by several callers to police dispatch, leading to the arrest  of the driver, who was cited for his third drunk driving offense.  The man was also charged with failure to yield to an emergency vehicle after he pulled away from the traffic stop on three separate occasions.  

April 26, 2011 – A  29 year old Waterford man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, operating after revocation, and a registration violation after a traffic stop on Champions Drive.

April 28, 2011 –  An 18 year old Muskego woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, and a 14 year old Waterford girl for a violation of curfew, after an investigation of  a suspicious vehicle parked at a business in the S8400 block of Challenger Drive at around 2 a.m.

April 29, 2011 –  A 32 year old Waukesha man was arrested for operating under the influence of drugs when a cellular 911 caller reported a one-vehicle accident in the W13100 block of Tess Corners Dr.
