Shoplifting Call Turns Into Arrest for Weapons, Other Charges

Muskego Police report they found knife, wirecutters in shoplifting suspect's car, which he was driving under revocation

Muskego Police were called to Kohl's Department store in Muskego on Oct. 17 around 5 p.m. for a retail theft, but found much more once the suspect was arrested, according to police reports.

Along with $117 in stolen items, police say the 33-year-old Muskego man also had an active warrant from Oneida County for a second OWI offense, and had been driving under revocation.

Upon searching the man's vehicle, they also discovered wire cutters that the man admitted to using to cut tags, as well as a knife, the report stated.

The man is now facing multiple charges in Waukesha County Circuit Court.
