Witnesses in the home told police the woman began screaming at and hitting her father with her fists. The man told police he was sitting in a chair as he was disabled, having his arm in a cast and experiencing other issues with his back. Her 7-year-old son was taken from the room after he witnessed the event and became upset.

He said he thought his daughter had calmed down when he moved to another seat, but he was assaulted again by the woman with a wooden yardstick and breaking it, a metal shoehorn and a curtain rod.

Police reported the man did not appear to have any injuries, and the woman was not at the residence when they arrived.

She turned herself into police the following day, where she denied hitting her father and claimed he had "head-butted" her. She was released after posting $150 cash bond, but is facing charges in Waukesha County Circuit Court for disorderly conduct related to domestic violence.
