Woman Strikes Light Pole, Urinates in Back of Squad, Police Say

The 21-year-old Milwaukee woman told police she had not had much to drink.

A 21-year-old Milwaukee woman urinated in the back seat of a Greenfield police car after police say she crashed into a light pole and was arrested for driving under the influence Nov. 27.

According to the Greenfield Police Department report, the woman and a 29-year-old male passenger were driving northbound on South 35th Street, when the woman swerved to the left, went over the curb, traveled a short distance on the grass and then struck a light pole.

When police arrived, the female passenger tried several times to open her door but was unsuccessful because, despite a police officer telling her the door was locked, she did not realize it. It was not until another Greenfield police officer unlocked it that she was able to open the door.

The woman told police they had been to two bars but said she had not had much to drink. She was arrested, and while she was being transported back to the police station, she urinated in the backseat, which resulted in a disorderly conduct citation.

She registered a .25 breath alcohol content on a preliminary breath test.

As a result of her vehicle striking the light pole, the light fixture on the pole fell off and broke on the ground. The front bumper of the Cadillac four-door sedan the woman was driving fell off but the vehicle suffered only minor damage.

The woman suffered a small laceration to her nose. The passenger was not hurt.

This is why they should have VINYL seats, not leather, leather will cost more to replace due to the BIOhazard; leather will absorb the urine and other bodily fluids deposited on it. Sure if it was treated with a waterproofer it would repel it; how often and at what expense are we going to have the leather seats retreated?

Each cop car should be equipped with a restroom attendant with towels, mints and a selection of cologne.

And you think cops have an easy job?

Thank goodness no one was hurt, I feel kinda bad for the cop though.

The police cars do NOT have cushy seats in back. They are are a hard molded material, because they plan for this. A lot of drunks get sick back there. The seats do not absorb anything, so this dumb lady would have been sitting in her own puddle.
