NJ Gov. Chris Christie to Campaign with Scott Walker in Milwaukee, Green Bay

The GOP 'rock star' plans to join Gov. Scott Walker during his last month of the campaign before the Wisconsin recall election.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie — often dubbed one of the "rock stars" of the Republican party — is headed to Wisconsin next month to campaign for Gov. Scott Walker.

The May 1 visit to Green Bay and Milwaukee comes about one month before the Republican governor will try to.

Details were sketchy, but it appears anyone who wants to attend one of the two events will have to contribute $20 to Walker and will then be entered into a drawing for the chance to take part.

"With your $20 contribution to Governor Walker’s campaign, you will be given a chance to not only see these two men of action in person, but will have a keepsake of a lifetime to take home with you," according to an email the Walker campaign sent out Wednesday. "You may enter  as many times as you like and with each $20 contribution, your chances of winning will increase."

Those chosen to attend the two events would get a chance to have their photos taken with Walker and Christie, who the Walker campaign described as "two of the greatest voices for conservative causes in the United States."

It’s not the first time the New Jersey politician has visited the Badger State on Walker’s behalf. He also visited in October 2010 to endorse Walker during the initial election, according to NJ.com.

And the outspoken governor has a long history endorsing multiple GOP candidates. According to the Huffington Post, he endorsed both Mitt Romney for the GOP presidential nomination and as well as Sen. Scott Brown of Massachusetts.

Christie's name has frequently been mentioned as a possible running mate for Romney, and the governor has said he remains open to the idea.

“I love this job (governor) and I’m not looking to do it (vice president),” Christie told ABC News. “But I also think it is extraordinarily arrogant for you to say you won’t even listen to the nominee of your party – especially for me. It’s someone who I’ve been supporting since last October vigorously around the country – that I wouldn’t take a call from Mitt Romney."

The $100 million, from Walker, is not tax money. Unlike the $100 million that Barrett is going to spend on a 2 mile long trolley. Who's the idiot now? Yep, Bucky. Keep going after Walker when it is your side that is out-of-control, Moron.
