I-43 Lane Closure on Tuesday May Impact Your Commute

Drivers getting on the freeway on Tuesday morning from Racine Avenue heading east should take note of a right lane closure due to concrete pour on bridge.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), a deck pour on a bridge along I-43 will take place on Tuesday, August 28 and will affect Muskego motorists using the freeway to head downtown.

This will impact one southbound lane from Calhoun to Racine Avenue, which will be closed starting at 9 a.m. and remaining closed until 5 a.m. on Wednesday.Β Β

There will be alternate routes signed for the work which is expected to have an impact on traffic during the afternoon peak travel time. As always, the project is dependent on weather conditions.
