Last Chance: Week of May 7

Your opportunity to signup for Muskego Youth Tackle Football for the fall 2012 season will take place at Lake Denoon Middle Schoosignup for all grades first through eighth for both All-American Youth Football League (AAYFL) and Racine Youth Sports league (RYS)  is from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 7.

Parents who are unsure if their child should sign up for sixth grade AAYFL or for RYS will find information on both groups at www.muskegoyouthfootball.com. Anyone still uncertain should attend the May 7 signup date to discuss further.

Think your candidate is better? - Tuesday, May 8 is recall primary election day, and depending on who you support it may be their last chance to stay in the running for governor. Don't forget to vote! The general election for the recall is June 5.

May 8 could also be the last chance for the- the Common Council will review 4 options for the construction plan at their meeting at 7 p.m., with one of the options being to kill the path altogether. Don't want to see it go?  You have until then to let your alderman know where you stand.

May 12 is not just your last chance - it's your only chance to browse and buy at  My Table Pottery's first ever "Funkie Junkie" junk show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Of course, it's not junk - My Table has exquisite hand thrown pottery as well as art from area craftsmen. Come out to see up-cycled furniture, jewelry holders, demonstrations with the fantastic Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and lots of other fun goodies.

May 13 is also Mother's Day - you have this week only to get her a great gift, and we're going to say May 12 is your last chance, because really - getting mom's gift ON Mother's day after how much she thinks about you is just....sad.
