Muskego Chamber Announces Scholarship Winner

Allison Gage is a member of the Muskego-Norway School Board, president of Muskego High School's FBLA and has earned $1,000 scholarship to apply to her studies at Ohio State in fall.

Allison Gage, a senior at Muskego High School (MHS), has been named as the Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism’s 2012 Scholarship award recipient.  The Chamber provides a $1,000 scholarship each year to a local student who has exhibited strong academic achievement as well as community and school service and involvement.

The award will be presented to Gage at the Chamber’s Annual Gala and Auction on Thursday, March 8th, 2012 at Bush Gardens Banquet Hall. Allison Gage and her parent’s attendance at the Gala will be sponsored by Intrepid Innovations, a Muskego Chamber of Commerce business member.

Gage has aspirations for a career in business and has been accepted at Ohio State University.  "Her placement on the honor roll at MHS throughout her attendance was only part of the deciding factor in naming her.  Her commitment to service and her leadership roles make her the Chamber's 2012 winner," according to Tina Weiss, Executive Director.

“Allison’s service to her community through student council, FBLA, over 250 hours of volunteer service, and her youth ministry roles are equally regarded with her strong academics,” Weiss stated.  “Her involvement at MHS through various clubs and teams also indicated to us that she is dedicated to being involved with her community, no matter where it may be.  We are extremely proud for her achievements and feel that she represents the best of our community.”
