Muskego Parks and Recreation Director Craig Anderson has now posted an official request for volunteers to serve as stakeholders in a lake park committee.
The committee will be formed as part of a compromise proposal approved by the Common Council Tuesday night to allow residents to have a more intimate role in planning and determining costs for the park. The sale of the park, which is $3.55 million, has been held until the committee and the Parks Board can receive the information make a recommendation to the Common Council in September.

The Parks & Recreation Board (P&R Board) is seeking individuals willing to represent Muskego clubs/organizations and who are interested in serving as stakeholders to assist the P&R Board develop conceptual Lake Park plan options for public informational meetings. The P&R Board will select from those interested individuals to make up the stakeholder group. Those interested individuals should email firstname.lastname@example.org their contact information (name, phone number, email, and home address) and the club/organization they would be representing as a stakeholder. E-mailed information should be received by Monday April 2, 2012. The P&R Board thanks you for your interest.
