Rep. Craig Begins Second Term Focused on Economic Growth

Representative from the 83rd District looks forward to pro-growth agenda as the 101st legislature begins its term.

Following Monday's swearing-in of Wisconsin’s 101st Legislature, Rep. David Craig (R-Town of Vernon) released the following statement:

“I am humbled and honored to have the opportunity to continue to represent the citizens of Wisconsin’s 83rd Assembly District and look forward to working with Governor Walker and my fellow legislators on putting forth a pro-growth economic agenda,” Rep. Craig said. “By limiting the size and scope of government, reducing and streamlining job-killing regulations, and lowering the tax burden, Wisconsin can continue to move in the right direction. Our state has made great progress these past two years, but we still have a long way to go.”

Rep. Craig was recently appointed to serve as Chairman of the Assembly Committee on Financial Institutions and Vice Chairman of the Committee on Government Operations and State Licensing, during the upcoming legislative session.
