Week in Review: Jan 13 - 19

Locally, it was about parks issues, but gun control and the state of our state was also on people's minds.

Local news came in large part from the parks department, as it could be decided that a local homeowner can't access his garage without a deal from the city or be forced to rebuild.

In addition a splash pad survey came back with positive results at the Parks Board meeting, and cameras and gates were among the suggestions to end parks vandalism.

During last weekend, folks spotted an  as warm temps thinned the ice on Little Muskego Lake.

Bizarre behavior at Kwik Trip led to an accident on I-43 in December as we uncovered the police and sheriff's department reports, but the woman involved was not cited for impaired driving. 

Also from MPD a familiar face is named as a new Public Information Officer for the department.
