Plan Commission looks at a new church looking to move into Muskego, and an annual summertime fundraiser for the cancer society kicks off its planning, among other meetings and events planned this week.

Tuesday, Feb. 5:

Relay for Life Kickoff, 6 p.m., Muskego Public Library

Public Hearing (Prior t o plan commission) 6 p.m., Muskego Room at City Hall - residents will hear of plans to convert the Gateway building at Tans Drive and Racine Avenue into a church by the Fox River nondenominational congregation. 

Plan Commission, 6: p.m., Muskego Room at City Hall - topics will include an approval based on the above proposal by Fox River Church, as well as proposals from the Muskego Moose Lodge and Muskego Firestone to amend their building, site and operation plans.

Wednesday, Feb. 6:

Jammin on Janesville Q & A, 5:30 - 7 p.m., Muskego Chamber of Commerce offices; the Jammin team will be in the office every Wed. to help you with your plans for the summer festival and hash out some great ideas for your business.

Thursday, Feb 7:

Janesville Road Public Information Meeting, 4 - 7 p.m., Muskego Room at City Hal

Little Muskego Lake Protection and Rehab Board, 7 p.m., Alderman's Room at City Hall

We will also be taking a look at the week ahead with our Muskego High School sports teams, connecting with candidates who are appearing on the ballot even though there's no aldermanic primary (State Supreme Court Justice is the only race on February 19), and following up on the city hall meetings listed above.
