Bay Lane Associate Prinicipal Hired

The second in command position at Bay Lane Middle School was filled Monday evening as the Muskego-Norway School Board named Sara Stanley as Associate Principal. Stanley replaces Bryan Matera, who resigned in August, and as part of her contract, will receive $88,500 annually.

Stanley taught in special education for nine years in the West Allis West Milwaukee School District, and prior to that taught in California. She received her master's degree in education and school administration at Concordia University.

She told the board, "I am excited at the changes were are seeing in education, and to be a part of the integration of 21st century skills. The futures are very different for our students now, and it's a privilege to be a part of that."
