Muskego Chamber Of Commerce Announces Scholarship

Annual award will be granted to local student, and applications are now available

Tina Weiss, executive director of the Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, announced that they are now accepting applications for its Youth Volunteer Scholarship. Β 

The award is $1000, and is donated by many chamber members. Students who apply must be have senior status in school, and be applying for a college or technical school. Along with answering questions on community and extra-curricular involvement, applicants must submit a 150-word essay on their educational goals and how they hope to acheive them, and will be evaluated on content and writing skills.

The scholarship application is available on the chamber's website (under the chamber tab) or by email to info@muskego.org.Β  Deadline is January 2, 2012.Β

The scholarship will be presented at the Chamber's Awards Banquet & Silent Auction on March 8, 2012 at Bush Gardens, and is open to the public.

Past recipients of the scholarship include: Lauryn Marie Berry, Alyssa R. McCormack, Samantha Holten and Nicole Haupert.
